People & Talent Manager, South East Asia (6 months contract)

Located in Singapore, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead and support our teams across the South East Asia region, with a strong focus on HR transactional responsibilities and supporting employee experience initiatives across Southeast Asia (SEA). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational HR, ensuring smooth execution of core processes while contributing to a positive employee journey.

Payroll Administration

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing for Singapore and support SEA markets.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Liaise with global payroll team and related vendors and finance teams for accurate and timely payments

HR Systems Maintenance & transactional responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to local labor laws and on HRIS systems
  • Ensure data integrity and generate reports for internal stakeholders
  • Support system troubleshooting and enhancements as needed
  • Execute and oversee on all round HR transactional responsibilities to capture staff cost movements, org chart and provide timely analytics and reports requested by management
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to local labor laws.
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and reports.
  • Assist and execute on visa related application

HRBP, Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and HR support
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience
  • Work closely with the regional people team and support regional initiatives to enhance engagement and well-being across SEA.
  • Team upskilling & development for North Asia people team members and office manager
  • Partner with the South East Asia MD and advise on all round HR matters for the region
  • Work closely with the regional People & Talent team on regional initiatives
  • Align and apply changes global & regional people related initiatives to South East Asia

THE SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years solid HR operation experience within an international, fast-paced and customer driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of people best practices and employment labor law in Singapore, knowledge in labor law SEA region would be advantageous
  • You will bring a positive energy, even in times of adversity
  • Analytical and data driven
  • Successfully demonstrated results orientated business partnering with Managers and Leaders with ability to build rapport with key stakeholders quickly with tailored messages and style appropriately to different audiences.
  • Excellent eye for detail, you make sure all the t's are crossed and i's dotted!
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders with discretion and sensitivity across all levels of the business
  • Innovative, proactive, and pragmatic solutions based style
  • Must be highly organised, flexible team player with excellent prioritization and strong follow-up skills.
