Position Title: Manager, Applications Workday

Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila – 2 days per week onsite


Role Purpose

NCC Group are looking for an experienced People Systems Manager to join our team.

The People Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the Workday platform and other minor HRIS platforms of NCC.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Workday HCM Functionalities and the ability to drive pro a team of HCM Analysts to achieve business goals and provide business value.

Key Responsibilities


Summary
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of primarily Workday projects and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of other HRIS systems.
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of 5 Workday HCM Analysts, ensuring clear objectives, effective workload management, high performance, and continuous professional development.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive HR information with maturity, discretion, and sound judgement.
  • Oversee BAU support for global business users and HR, including system troubleshooting, defect resolution, ad-hoc reporting support, issue triage, and support for annual HR processes.
  • Own the prioritisation and allocation of Workday support, enhancement, and project work across the HCM Analyst team, ensuring service levels, business priorities, and user experience are effectively balanced.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex Workday issues.
  • Partner with HR functional leads to understand business needs, identify process improvements, recommend Workday solutions, and support HR technology roadmap planning.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive HR information with maturity, discretion, and sound judgement.
  • Lead Workday release planning and coordinate review of new features, regression testing, stakeholder communication, and adoption of relevant functionality.
  • Ensure process documentation, configuration documentation, learning materials, FAQs, and support knowledge articles are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Establish and monitor quality standards for Workday support, documentation, configuration, testing, and customer service.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Workday processes, ways of working, support models, governance, and team capability.
  • Encourage regular self-learning within the team using Workday Community and other available learning channels.
  • Actively contribute to HR-wide, GTS-wide, and business transformation initiatives as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise



What we are looking for in you

Minimum Requirements:

  • Workday HCM Core / HCM Fundamentals certification is required.
  • 8 years total experience;
  • 5+ years Workday; Experience in similar HRIS system will be vetted.
  • 3 years directly managing people, including responsibility for coaching, performance management, workload allocation, development planning, and day-to-day leadership of a team.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, HR policy, employee lifecycle processes, and the interaction between HR operations and Workday configuration.
  • Experience working with multinational corporations, including supporting global HR processes, geographically dispersed stakeholders, and complex regional or country-specific requirements.
  • Experience supporting projects, enhancements, testing cycles, release cycles, operational improvements, and customer service delivery improvements.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Desirable Requirements:
  • An additional Workday HCM functional certification is desirable.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, including AMS partners, implementation partners, support providers, and other external technology suppliers.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
