What you will be doing:

The People Services Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all employees. Exceptional people motivation, organizational and event planning skills. Creative and Results driven type personality. The successful candidate will be expected to exceed the needs of the business and ensure that employee morale is constantly being focused on.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizes all Company sponsored special events (Birthdays, Employee Recognition Programs, employee appreciation, new customer celebrations, work through lunch coordination, etc. off-site Company events and others as needed)
  • Serve on Activities committees
  • Hosts new hire employee orientation
  • develops ideas for morale building activities to continuously improve morale and best practices
  • Manages the Asurion Suggestion Program
  • Ensures that all methods of communication are clear and available to all employees in a timely manner
  • Participate in developing department goals and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Here's what you'll bring to the team:

  • Ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of experience in a call center or people management experience or event planning experience.
  • Proven skills in managing special events
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Approachable, lively and a strong motivator of people
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • Problem Solver with attention to detail
  • Action and Results orientated
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (to include day, evening and some weekend hours)
  • Proficiency using MS Office with above average skills with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks quickly
  • Ability to Multi-task different priorities
  • Ability to lift 50+lbs and stand for long hours if needed
  • Ability to execute, plan, surprise and delight employees
  • Making memorable events and differentiates the Asurion experience
  • Event planning and vendor management experience is a MUST
