GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for leading and continuously improving People Operations programs, processes, and initiatives that support the entire employee lifecycle for a US-based company. Oversees the design, implementation, documentation, and optimization of scalable HR processes, systems, and operational frameworks. Partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and business leaders to enhance operational efficiency, employee experience, compliance, and service delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Lead and continuously improve People Operations programs that support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.
- Design, document, implement, and optimize scalable People processes, workflows, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as a project manager for key People initiatives, ensuring successful planning, execution, communication, and adoption.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Payroll, HRIS, and Finance to improve cross-functional programs and employee experiences.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive People knowledge library, including templates, FAQs, guides, process documentation, and self-service resources.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to simplify work, improve service delivery, reduce manual effort, and enhance employee experience.
- Support HR technology implementations, system enhancements, testing, documentation, and change management initiatives.
- Manage and continuously improve People Operations service delivery, case management processes, and operational standards.
- Monitor operational metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements that increase quality, consistency, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure data quality, documentation standards, and operational consistency across People systems and processes.
- Support compliance activities, audits, policy governance, and documentation requests.
- Create executive-ready dashboards, project updates, communications, and operational reporting that demonstrate progress and business impact.
- Recommend innovative technologies, AI solutions, and operational best practices that help the People & Places team scale effectively.
- Stay current on emerging trends in People Operations, AI, HR technology, employee experience, and operational excellence.
-Performs other duties as may be assigned by the team and management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration/Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Program Management, HRIS, Employee Experience, Business Operations, or a related operational role.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs, projects, or operational initiatives.
- Strong understanding of People processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience designing and improving scalable operational processes and workflows.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience creating documentation, playbooks, knowledge articles, SOPs, and operational resources.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, documentation, communications, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and build strong partnerships without direct authority.
- Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to work US business hours (night schedule) and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, or similar systems.
- Experience leading HR technology implementations or system optimization projects.
- Experience supporting shared services or global People Operations organizations.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools, AI platforms, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting HR compliance, policy governance, and audit activities.
- Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or similar certifications are a plus.
