People Operations Manager
MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The People Operations Associate (Generalist) supports the end-to-end employee lifecycle while serving as a first-line support for employee relations concerns. This role helps ensure a positive employee experience by addressing inquiries, coordinating resolutions, and supporting the consistent application of company policies, all while maintaining operational excellence and compliance.
TASKS:
Employee Lifecycle & Operations
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system access, and coordination with internal teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR databases
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and People Ops processes
- Assist in cascading and implementing HR policies and guidelines across the organization
Employee Relations
- Act as a first-level support for employee relations concerns (e.g., workplace issues, attendance concerns, basic policy clarifications)
- Assist in handling ER cases by documenting concerns, gathering information, and coordinating with the Senior People Operations Manager for resolution
- Support disciplinary and corrective action processes by preparing documentation and tracking case timelines
- Help ensure fair, consistent, and timely application of company policies and procedures
- Promote positive employee relations by supporting open communication and a respectful workplace culture
Compensation & Benefits
- Support payroll preparation by validating employee data, attendance, and employee changes
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and employee concerns
- Coordinate with internal teams and providers regarding benefits-related documentation
Compliance & Documentation
- Assist with statutory compliance requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, DOLE documentation)
- Support audits and compliance requirements (ISO, SOC2, internal audits) through documentation and data preparation
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and secure storage of ER-related and employee records
Performance, Engagement & Programs
- Support performance management processes, including documentation and tracking
- Assist in employee engagement, wellness programs, and company events
- Coordinate logistics for learning & development activities and internal trainings
HR Data & Process Improvement
- Generate basic HR reports and trackers (headcount, attendance, turnover, ER case logs, etc.)
- Assist in improving HR processes, templates, and People Ops documentation
- Support digital People Ops tools and simple automation initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1–3 years of HR or People Operations experience, preferably in a generalist role
- Basic working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills
