Job Summary:The People Development Officer will be instrumental in designing,Job Summary: The People Development Officer will be instrumental in designing,implementing, and evaluating effective learning programs and initiatives that align with ourorganizational goals and employee development needs. This role involves collaborating withvarious departments to identify training gaps, curate relevant content, deliver engagingsessions, and track the impact of People Development. The ideal candidate will be passionateabout adult learning, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be proactive infostering a continuous learning culture within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough training needs analyses across variousdepartments and levels of employees, utilizing surveys, interviews, performancereviews, and other relevant data.
. Program Design & Development: Design and develop comprehensive learningprograms, workshops, and courses (both in-person and online) using variousinstructional design methodologies. This includes creating engaging training materials,presentations, job aids, and assessments.
. Facilitation & Delivery: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, workshops,and presentations to diverse employee groups. Adapt delivery styles to suit differentlearning preferences and actively foster participation.
. Content Curation & Management: Research, evaluate, and recommend externaltraining programs, resources, and e-learning platforms that align with identified needs.Maintain and update the company's learning management system (LMS) and trainingresource library.
. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with department heads, HR BusinessPartners, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand their training requirementsand ensure L&D initiatives support their objectives.
. Onboarding Support: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the newemployee onboarding program, ensuring a smooth and effective integration for newhires
.. Culture of Learning: Champion a culture of continuous learning and professionaldevelopment throughout the organization. Promote internal knowledge sharing andmentorship programs.
. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on Learning and Development best practices,emerging technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve our learningofferings.
. Administrative Tasks: Manage training schedules, logistics, room bookings, andparticipant communications. Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, OrganizationalDevelopment, or a related field.
. Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a Learning and Development orTraining role, preferably within a [mention relevant industry if applicable, e.g., BPO,corporate, tech] environment in the Philippines.
. Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learningprinciples.
. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivatediverse audiences.
. Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoringtools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) is a strong advantage.
. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess training needs and evaluate programeffectiveness.
. Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to training and development is aplus.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
