Job Description

Role: People & Culture Officer

Work Set Up: Hybrid - 3x a week onsite in Makati Office

Role Purpose

To strengthen employee experience and client alignment by embedding People & Culture within the Client Success function. The role supports end-to-end employee lifecycle needs of assigned accounts while ensuring consistent, fair, and policy-aligned people practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Client Success Lead to align messaging for employees and clients, while consulting with the HR Delivery Manager (Business Services) to ensure compliance with Philippine labor law requirements
  • Support employee relations, performance conversations, and culture initiatives for assigned teams
  • Implement and reinforce people-related policies, attendance standards, and conduct expectations
  • Provide coaching, counselling, and engagement interventions to employees
  • Coordinate with Recruitment and Client Success on onboarding, movement, and workforce planning needs
  • Support company-wide engagement and culture programs
  • Ensure all decisions and actions remain compliant, consistent, and values-driven

Required Competencies

Role-Specific

  • Strong understanding of employment processes, documentation, and HR workflows
  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and how they apply to client-assigned staff
  • Experienced in managing basic HR issues and supporting complex IR cases and collaborating closely with the HR Business Services & Head of Delivery Operations on advanced HR/IR matters.

Cognitive and Executional

  • Organized and thorough, able to manage multiple accounts without missing details
  • Able to act quickly when needed, but grounded enough to follow process
  • Balances administrative load with situational awareness

Leadership (influence level)

  • Professional and steady communicator across staff and internal peers
  • Builds trust by being reliable, fair, and discreet
  • Comfortable representing HR with confidence and care, even in tough conversations

Experience and Background

Must-Have

  • 2–4 years in HR roles with exposure to onboarding, IR, and HR documentation
  • Experience supporting or coordinating HR activities in BPO, RPO, or fast-paced service environments
  • Strong documentation and admin skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with client-facing HR support or shared services
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms or digital documentation systems
  • Background assisting in labor cases, hearings, or performance coaching cycles
