Penetration Tester

Overview

As a Penetration Tester, you will be working collaboratively with CIS in managing cybersecurity risk management and compliance. You will have an opportunity to develop your skills across a broad range of technical, security, risks management, and compliance related efforts.

Functions and Responsibilities

•Leveraging various scripting languages and open-source solutions to automate security processes and frameworks.

• Bug Bounty Hunting
• Penetration Testing

•Good understanding on Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Integration

•Working knowledge of code security analysis SAST (Static Application Security Testing) & DAST (Dynamic application Security Testing)

•Good understanding of Application Security frameworks and standards such as OWASP

•Good understanding of security practices on vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, network security, security operations, software development

•Good understanding of security concepts, including encryption and application security best practices

•Good understanding of Security Frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, PCI, DSS)

•Working knowledge of malware detection, analysis, and evasion techniques Employment

Standards Experience:

• At least 1-2 years experience in the specific field, or;
• 2-4 years experience in a related field Job Skills & Qualifications Educational Background:
• College degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering,

Cybersecurity or related field Certification in the following or related fields is a plus:

• DevSecOps Foundation

• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional

• Cyber Secure coder

• Penetration Tester Certified

• Cybersecurity Certified
