What You'll Do
- Support the strategic direction, performance, and sustainability of payroll systems and operations.
- Manage and optimize payroll systems, configurations, integrations, and daily data flows.
- Resolve system issues through root‑cause analysis, testing, and collaboration with HR, Finance, and People teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining payroll processes and adopting new technologies.
- Identify system and process improvement opportunities, including cost‑benefit analysis and training delivery.
- Prioritize payroll projects, initiatives, and reporting in partnership with Finance leadership.
- Provide hands‑on support for payroll preparation, data entry, checking, and processing.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders while responding promptly to employee payroll queries.
- Provide payroll expertise, guidance, and support for team members, change initiatives, and service excellence.
Key Criteria
- At minimum 5 years payroll systems experience, working within a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience using Workday and Payroll software (preferred Aurion, or similar).
- Experience involving system maintenance, troubleshooting and development.
- Excellent understanding of Australian payroll legislative requirements (awards, Payroll tax, Superannuation, PAYG and Workers Compensation).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
- Exceptional communication, people and customer service skills.
Work setup:
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00AM – 3:00PM PHT) with hybrid setup 2 times a week for the first month. To move to Hybrid, once a week (every Thursday) after.
