Role Description The Payroll Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for assigned teams or client accounts. This role includes supervising payroll processing cycles, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of wages, managing payroll adjustments, and monitoring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. The Payroll Supervisor will coordinate closely with HR, finance, and operations to resolve payroll issues, handle employee inquiries, and maintain up-to-date payroll records. Daily tasks also involve reviewing reports, approving payroll-related transactions, supporting audits, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong attention to detail, and the ability to guide and coach payroll staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Payroll Administration, including end-to-end processing, reconciliation, and compliance
  • Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, with the ability to apply relevant regulations and statutory requirements
  • Experience managing Employee Benefits and coordinating payroll-related benefit deductions and adjustments
  • Foundational Accounting skills to review payroll entries, support financial reporting, and ensure accurate general ledger postings
  • Previous experience in a payroll supervisory or lead role, preferably in a shared services, BPO, or outsourcing environment
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and MS Office tools (especially Excel) and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and support team members
  • Ability to work on-site in Metro Manila and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
