Job Description

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3)

Position: Payroll Operations Analyst

Work Set-Up: Hybrid-2x per week onsite.

Location: Ayala, Makati City

Schedule: TBA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payroll Processing

• Collaborate with the Data & Inquiry Management Team to ensure all payroll inputs are complete and ready for processing.

• Review payroll results for completeness, validity, and accuracy, including statutory and compliance calculations.

• Apply company's payroll policies (e.g., timing of workforce changes, payroll rates) to validate payroll outputs.

• Interpret country-specific legislative and compliance requirements to assess payroll accuracy and resolve errors.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies before payroll cutoff deadlines.

• Execute payroll activities in accordance with the established Payroll Calendar.

• Prepare and submit payroll supporting documents and schedules for final approval and payout.

Customer Support

• Handle payroll-related requests requiring specialized knowledge in a timely and professional manner.

• Provide accurate, clear, and relevant information to employees and stakeholders, ensuring issue resolution.

• Adhere to data privacy policies and maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain and store payroll registers, validation templates, and supporting schedules in secure, approved repositories.

• Provide payroll data and reports to business units as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant payroll processing experience, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, including statutory and compliance requirements.

• Experience handling country-specific payroll (Australia, Singapore, Philippines) and applicable labor and tax regulations.

• Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, or similar platforms).

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work within strict payroll calendars.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data validation, formulas, reconciliation).

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
