Payroll Specialist (Up to ₱30,000 | Remote | FREE AI Certification)

Philippines | 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHT | Monday to Friday

As a Payroll Specialist, you become the go-to payroll expert for a dedicated portfolio of small business clients who rely on you to keep their people paid accurately and on time. You're the calm, knowledgeable voice they turn to when payroll questions come up, and the steady hand behind the scenes making sure every record, correction, and report is right.

This role puts you at the center of client relationships and payroll operations alike. You'll juggle a mix of hands-on processing, client support, and problem-solving — all while helping build a reputation for dependable, high-quality payroll service.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

  • 1–3 years of experience in automated payroll systems or equivalent accounting work
  • Previous payroll experience in a client-facing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • The ability to write clearly and professionally when communicating with clients
  • A track record of delivering accurate work under tight deadlines or unexpected situations

STRONG SIGNALS

  • Direct experience with SaaS-based payroll systems, plus the ability to quickly pick up new ones
  • In-house payroll processing experience at a small to mid-sized business
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset paired with a genuine drive to deliver excellent client service

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Client Payroll Support

You own the client experience for a dedicated book of business.

  • Support both full-service and self-service clients across a suite of HCM and payroll products
  • Handle inbound client requests, including email tickets and calls, regarding payroll issues and requests
  • Manage support escalations and retention efforts to keep client relationships strong

Payroll Processing & Operations

You ensure every payroll cycle runs accurately and on schedule.

  • Manage day-to-day operational needs such as payroll reminders, adding payroll-related codes, and processing or assisting with payroll runs
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and handle payroll corrections
  • Support payroll-related reporting for your client portfolio

Service Excellence & Performance

You maintain the standard that makes clients trust you with their payroll.

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service tailored to each client's payroll needs
  • Meet or consistently exceed performance expectations
  • Coordinate with teammates to resolve client issues and share best practices
