Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely release of salaries.
Review and validate attendance, timekeeping, overtime, leave, undertime, absences, incentives, allowances, and other payroll adjustments.
Calculate employee salaries, deductions, benefits, incentives, and other payroll-related components.
Process and monitor SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax deductions and remittances.
Ensure accurate computation and timely submission of payroll-related government reports and requirements.
Conduct regular payroll reconciliation and validation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and updated employee payroll records, including new hires, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and employee separations.
Coordinate closely with HR, Accounting, Finance, and department heads regarding employee movements, attendance, compensation, and payroll concerns.
Review and approve payroll reports and supporting documents prior to payroll processing.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, benefits, taxes, and other payroll matters.
Prepare payroll summaries, reports, schedules, and other management reports as required.
Assist in the preparation of annual tax certificates and payroll-related government documentation.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee compensation and personal information.
Assist in internal and external payroll audits and provide necessary supporting documents.
Monitor payroll processes and recommend improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and safekeeping of payroll records.
Perform other duties and HR/Finance-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2–4 years of experience in payroll administration or payroll processing.
Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing and timekeeping management.
Knowledge of Philippine payroll practices, statutory contributions, and tax requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll/accounting systems.
Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Highly organized and able to manage strict payroll deadlines.
Able to handle confidential employee and compensation information with professionalism.
Experience in handling high-volume payroll is an advantage.
