Responsibilities
  • Process account activation for new hire accounts in the payroll system
  • Process employment data changes in the payroll system such as updates on cost center regularization status, separation and team transfers.
  • Conducts bi-monthly review of attendance records, coordinates with timekeepers for attendance corrections and assists in all timekeeping issues and concerns.
  • Process payroll inputs like payroll accounts, new hire salary and allowance, attendance/pay adjustments, earnings, deductions, and loans.
  • Generates timekeeping, payroll and remittance reports from the payroll system
  • Ensures accuracy of timekeeping report being submitted to Payroll Supervisor and Senior Finance and Accounting Manager for payroll reference and HR for incentive review reference.
  • Prepares final pay computation and documents such as ITR and Quitclaim waiver
  • Conducts Payroll Orientation
  • Process Leave benefits/balance addition in the payroll system
  • Attends to concerns or inquiries regarding timekeeping, payroll, benefits etc.
  • Maintains timekeeping and payroll trackers
  • Process creation, update and review employees access, scopes and team assignments in the payroll system, as assigned.
  • Prepares letters for submission to government agencies like but not limited to employee addition and removal in master list.
  • Performs other timekeeping and payroll related functions that may be assigned by superior/manager from time to time.

Information Security:

  • Handle company and employees data in compliance with Data Privacy and Information Security policies.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Access only the systems, networks, and data authorized for this role.

Authorities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders for access, timekeeping and payroll related concerns.
  • Process backend timekeeping updates when needed, as approved by superior/manager.
  • Posts Announcements in the payroll system

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Commerce or similar course
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is preferred, but fresh graduates may be considered
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
  • Keen to details
  • Ability to adapt to change and meet the changing demands of the work environment
  • Self-Motivated, positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Must be a team player
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and tasks when required
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas and/or Cubao office
