REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or administrative support roles
  • Exposure to payroll or HR processes is an advantage but not required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of payroll processes and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Organized, dependable, and open to feedback
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude

WORK ARRANGEMENT

  • Hybrid work arrangement, with occasional work in the office requirements (approx. 1-2 x a month, in adherence to SW IOP policy)
  • 1x a week concurrent shift with client (12MN – 9AM), the rest of the week standard office hours with occasional extended hours during payroll or reporting deadlines.
  • Available to work during some Philippine holidays
  • Advanced PTO planning especially for payroll week schedule

Here's what you'll be doing at work:

PAYROLL PROCESSING

  • Process assigned payroll components accurately and on schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
  • Validate timesheets, payroll inputs, and basic adjustments
  • Manage standard payroll deductions, benefits, and withholdings
  • Maintain payroll records and assist with routine payroll reporting

EMPLOYEE DATA & SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and payroll systems, including updates to personal information, compensation details, tax data, and benefits
  • Perform regular data validation checks to ensure payroll accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure data changes are properly documented and compliant with internal controls

ONBOARDING & OFFBOARDING EXECUTION

  • Independently set up new hires in payroll systems based on approved documentation
  • Support offboarding payroll processes, including final pay preparation and coordination
  • Ensure all onboarding and offboarding payroll actions are completed within required timelines

EMPLOYEE & HR SUPPORT

  • Respond independently to routine payroll inquiries and discrepancies
  • Assist with HR documentation and payroll-related reporting
  • Escalate complex payroll issues when necessary

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & TEAM CONTRIBUTION

  • Demonstrate accountability for assigned payroll tasks
  • Manage time entries accurately and follow attendance guidelines
  • Participate in payroll training, coaching, and Studio West initiatives
  • Maintain open and professional communication with teammates and supervisors
