Job Description


Summary

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for end-to-end Payroll processing administration for Tenet employees. The role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and processing all payroll information for a designated group. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of basic payroll principles and state/local tax regulations. This position requires excellent communications skills, including the proper use of payroll terminology, professionalism, and ability to preserve confidentiality.


Duties and Responsibilities

es3. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurate

ly4. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission, audit entries, and validate confirmed reports after transmissi

on5. Responsible for administration of all garnishments and tracking all returned or stopped garnishment payments/orde

rs6. Responsible for researching pay or pay related items and providing a timely resoluti

on7. Responsible for editing/approving time records in the Kronos T&A syst

em8. Understand proper taxation of earnings and process garnishment calculations and complian

ce9. Thorough understanding of state and local tax regulations, in order to determine proper taxation on employee's reco

rd10. Communicate with Corporate Payroll Team and other parties regarding Payroll issues, as appropria

te11. Analyze, calculate and determine appropriate approach for manual checks, overpayments, disability adjustments, retro payment adjustments and final payouts in accordance with federal and state regulatory guidelin
