Equicom Service, Inc. is urgently looking for Payroll Accounting Assistant who can work onsite.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- With strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical skill and has a keen eye for details and accuracy.
- Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Can collaborate with various departments, communicate effectively with employees and external vendors.
- Preferably with experience in an accounting or finance role, especially in disbursement accounts payable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel. Knowledge in accounting software is a plus.
- With sense of urgency.
- Can work independently and able to work with minimal supervision.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepares final pay instruction.
- Schedules outward remittances for Instapay every payroll payout.
- Validates and monitors Manpower costs and payments.
- Prepares monthly schedule of BIR tax report.
- Monitors monthly statutory contributions and government loans. i.e. Social Security, Philhealth and Pag-Ibig
- Monitors and reconciles reimbursable accounts to Social Security System such as Maternity and Sickness Benefits. Maintains ageing of receivables related to SSS reimbursement.
- Perform analysis and prepare monthly reportorial and reconciliation of statutory contributions and government loans. Maintain tracker of monthly remittances.
- Perform monthly analysis of employees income taxes and withheld, prepare monthly BIR returns and remittances.
- Prepare monthly accrual of payroll related expenses such as manpower cost, leave commutation, 13th month pay, and other related expenses as requested by Finance Department.
- Prepares payroll accounting records and entries utilizing D365.
- Maintains and analyzes general ledger of payroll accounts and its related accounts.
- Performs annualization, reconciliation of employees annual income and taxes and prepare annual reports and remittances.
- Performs other task/functions as maybe assigned by the superior from time to time.
Information Security And Data Privacy Role And Responsibilities
- Comply with the organizations information security and data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the protection of sensitive data, safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information. This includes adhering to established protocols for securely handling, storing, and transmitting data while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Attend mandatory annual Information Security (InfoSec) and Data Privacy Act (DPA) awareness training to stay informed about the latest security practices and maintain compliance with relevant obligations.
