About the role

We are seeking a Payments Compliance Support professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our financial services operations adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor and assess payments processes and activities to identify potential compliance risks
• Collaborate with business units to develop and implement effective compliance controls
• Conduct compliance testing and audits to verify adherence to policies and regulations
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry standards
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting on compliance activities
• Work closely with the legal and risk management teams to address compliance issues

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in payments compliance or a related field in the banking/financial services industry
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, including AML, KYC, and payments-related compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate compliance risks
• Proficient in using compliance monitoring and testing tools
• Ability to effectively communicate compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices
• Highly organised with a keen attention to detail
