Role Description The Patient Scheduler at ScribeRunner is responsible for managing appointment scheduling and ensuring an efficient flow of patients for healthcare providers. This full-time, on-site role based in Binãn involves answering phone calls, coordinating appointment times, confirming and rescheduling visits, and updating patient records in scheduling systems. The Patient Scheduler will verify patient information, communicate preparation instructions, and collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to minimize scheduling conflicts and optimize provider availability. The role also includes monitoring daily schedules, addressing patient inquiries and concerns, and supporting a positive, professional experience for every patient.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in appointment scheduling, calendar management, and handling high call volumes in a healthcare or customer service setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear phone etiquette and the ability to interact professionally with patients, providers, and staff.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems or scheduling software, as well as basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, and data entry).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Customer service focus with a calm, empathetic approach to patient concerns and the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Binãn, collaborate with a team, and follow established workflows and policies.
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or call center is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is an advantage.
