We're looking for a detail-oriented Patent Information Specialist (Engineering) who can navigate complex patent databases, analyze technical inventions, and identify relevant patent information across multiple engineering and technology domains.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct patent searches covering mechanical engineering, industrial design, ornamental design, electrical engineering, and software/UI-related patents.
• Analyze patent documents, technical descriptions, claims, drawings, and classifications.
• Use patent databases to identify relevant inventions, technologies, and supporting information.
• Apply Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) and International Patent Classification (IPC) systems to categorize and retrieve patent information.
• Review patent records for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
• Support patent analytics and research activities by organizing and evaluating technical patent data.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience in patent searching, patent analytics, patent prosecution, or a related intellectual property function.
• Strong working knowledge of CPC and IPC classification systems.
• Hands-on experience using patent databases such as USPTO or Google Patents.
• Strong technical research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical documents and patent drawings.
