Job Summary:
The Partnership Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships to expand the EV charging station network. This role focuses on building relationships with property owners, commercial establishments, government agencies, real estate developers, fuel retailers, and other key stakeholders to secure charging station locations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Identify and establish partnerships with potential site hosts, including malls, office buildings, residential communities, hotels, retail centers, and parking operators.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners and charging station locations.
- Conduct site assessments and coordinate feasibility evaluations with internal teams.
- Negotiate commercial terms, agreements, and partnership contracts.
Business Expansion
- Support market expansion initiatives by identifying high-potential locations for EV charging infrastructure.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand to develop partnership strategies.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and stakeholder engagement.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, business partners, government offices, and industry organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective partners.
- Coordinate with legal, operations, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure successful project implementation.
Project Coordination
- Facilitate the end-to-end partnership process from initial engagement to site activation.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of partnership agreements.
- Monitor partner satisfaction and resolve issues that may impact business relationships.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on partnership pipelines, negotiations, and project status.
- Maintain accurate records in systems and databases.
- Monitor KPIs related to site acquisition, partnership conversion, and charging station deployment.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Real Estate, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, account management, or related roles.
- Experience in the electric vehicle (EV), renewable energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, real estate, fuel retail, or utility sectors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, site acquisition, permitting processes, and charging station deployment is an advantage.
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing partnership agreements with commercial property owners, developers, fleet operators, retailers, fuel stations, and government entities.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
