Think of it as a modern evolution of platforms like eBay, Etsy, or Craigslistbuilt with seamless transactions, secure payments, smart matching, and a global community of buyers and sellers.
You will be joining at launch stage, with the marketplace newly available on the Apple Store and in its early growth phase.
In this role, you will help transform how people exchange value online while driving revenue growth and expanding our user base.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Proactively source and engage potential sellers, buyers, and business partners
- Use cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, social media, and networking strategies
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Qualification & Needs Analysis
- Conduct discovery conversations to identify client needs, goals, and pain points
- Ensure alignment between prospects and platform offerings
Product Demonstrations
- Deliver engaging demos and walkthroughs via Zoom or video calls
- Showcase platform features, benefits, and revenue opportunities
Consultative Selling & Closing
- Present tailored solutions
- Handle objections professionally
- Close new user acquisitions and premium upgrades
Account Management & Growth
- Build long-term client relationships
- Drive repeat usage and upsell premium features (enhanced listings, ads, priority support)
- Encourage referrals and user advocacy
Market Awareness & Strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
- Provide feedback to leadership on market insights and improvement opportunities
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, demos, and closed deals
- Track and report key metrics including conversion rates, deal value, and revenue performance
Reporting Expectations
You will provide regular updates on:
- Outreach activity and booked meetings
- Pipeline status and sales forecasts
- Performance KPIs (conversion rates, win rates, deal cycle time)
- Revenue achievements and quota progress
- Customer insights, feedback, and market trends
