Part-Time Finance Business Partner (UK Banking, WFH)

Schedule: 16 hours a week (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM PHT)

Own the Group's financial model, reporting, tax compliance, and corporate governance across all portfolios and jurisdictions (UK and UAE), including annual accounts, director tax, company structure matters, and management of external lending facilities. This is a comprehensive finance function, not purely bookkeeping — covering day-to-day financial management through to statutory filing, cross-border tax, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Group-level financial model and cash runway across all portfolios
• Prepare investor reporting
• Manage repayment schedules across multiple debt facilities (director's loans, credit cards, and short-term lending facilities)
• Support budget-to-actual tracking for each portfolio
• File annual accounts and manage statutory filing obligations (UK, and UAE where applicable)
• Manage multi-jurisdiction tax compliance across the UK and UAE
• Manage director tax matters and submissions
• Support corporate governance matters, including company transfers and the setup of new entities as the Group expands into new markets
• Apply for and manage lending/credit facilities as the business requires them
• Run credit control directly — issuing sponsor invoices, chasing payment against agreed terms, and maintaining an aged-debt view across all live events
• Build out proper financial processes and reporting cadence as the business scales
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Part-qualified or qualified finance background (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction taxation, specifically UK and UAE
• Experience filing annual accounts
• Experience in corporate governance, company transfers, and setting up new business entities
• Experience with director tax management and submission
• Experience preparing reporting for investors or external stakeholders
• Comfortable managing multiple facility/debt schedules, and experience applying for lending/credit facilities
• Working experience with FreeAgent and Xero
• Strong Excel/financial modelling skills
• Experience working remotely with a UK-based client, ideally within events, media, or a similarly project-based business
• Working experience with Microsoft 365 and online business banking platforms (NatWest specifically is a plus, but general UK business banking platform experience is the key requirement)
