BenildeFilm is looking for Part-time Faculty Members who are qualified to teach any of following courses:

• Foundations of Film Production Design
• Applied Film Production Design
• Art Department Principles and
• Production Sound Production for Film
• Film Archiving
• Foundations of Postproduction
• Basic Visual Effects
• Studies on Scoring for Film

Role Description

As Part-Time Faculty Member, you will deliver classroom and/or laboratory instruction, facilitate learning activities, and ensure that course outcomes are met in alignment with college standards. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, and providing timely, constructive feedback.

The role also involves holding consultation hours, maintaining accurate class records, and participating in relevant departmental meetings or activities as required. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, requiring presence on campus for scheduled classes and academic commitments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of media industry experience in a role aligned to either: production design, sound production, sound design, postproduction, scoring, or film archiving.
• Strong teaching, facilitation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
• Expertise in the relevant academic or professional field, supported by up-to-date industry or research knowledge.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills for working with students, peers, and administrators.
• Competence in preparing instructional materials, designing assessments, and using educational technologies or learning management systems.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related discipline; a master's degree or higher and prior teaching experience at the tertiary level are preferred.
• Commitment to student-centered learning, inclusive teaching practices, and the Lasallian educational mission.
• Ability to work on-site in Metro Manila and manage academic responsibilities within a structured schedule.
