We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Part-Time AV Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for corporate events, conferences, trainings, worship services, and other live productions in Bacolod City.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with sound systems, LED displays, projectors, video switching, and basic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, operate, and dismantle AV equipment before and after events.
- Operate sound systems, wireless microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers.
- Configure and manage projectors, LED walls, displays, and video conferencing systems.
- Assist in live event production, including audio mixing and video playback.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events and provide immediate resolution.
- Ensure proper cable management and equipment safety standards.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance and inventory checks of AV equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, event organizers, and venue personnel.
Qualifications
- Vocational, technical, or college-level education in Electronics, IT, Multimedia, Broadcasting, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in AV installation, event production, or technical support is preferred.
Familiarity With
- Digital and analog audio mixers
- Wireless microphone systems
- LED walls and digital signage
- Projectors and display systems
- Video switchers and streaming equipment
- Basic networking concepts
- Ability to lift and transport equipment when necessary.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willing to work on-call and travel within Bacolod and nearby areas.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with live streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of LED wall configuration and video processors.
- Basic understanding of IP-based AV systems.
- Experience supporting corporate events, churches, schools, or entertainment venues.
