As a Paraplanner, you are the technical engine behind successful financial advice. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who excels in the nuances of XPLAN and portfolio modeling. You won't just be entering data; you will be preparing high-impact client review documents, executing corporate actions, and ensuring that investment strategies are accurately modeled to help clients reach their long-term wealth objectives.
Your Impact
Portfolio Modeling & Strategy: Prepare and generate performance reports, portfolio valuations, and asset allocations. You will utilize XPLAN for sophisticated data input and portfolio modeling to reflect diverse client investment strategies.
Investment Review & Re-weighting: Draft comprehensive client review documents focusing on investment strategy and portfolio re-weighting. You ensure that every strategy aligns with the client's risk profile and the adviser's recommendations.
XPLAN Data Stewardship: Maintain the integrity of client records by updating investment details and insurance data within XPLAN. Your meticulous updates ensure that financial advisers always have access to the most current and accurate information.
Corporate Actions & Distributions: Monitor and execute corporate actions for distribution entitlements of shares and managed funds. You will proactively follow up with financial advisers to ensure all entitlements are captured and processed correctly.
Compliance & Communication: Prepare essential client correspondence, including Fee Disclosure Statements (FDS) and other regulatory letters. Your clear and professional written communication ensures clients are informed and the firm remains compliant.
What You Bring
The Experience:3-4+ years of experience in a similar paraplanning or financial planning support role. You have a proven track record of supporting advisers in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Mastery: Strong proficiency in XPLAN is essential. You understand how to navigate the platform for modeling, reporting, and data management.
Organizational Prowess: A process-driven and self-motivated professional with high attention to detail. You can work to strict deadlines while managing multiple administrative priorities.
The Mindset: A fast learner with a keen desire to grow and stay updated on new investment trends and technologies. You are organized, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve existing processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent written English skills, capable of drafting professional letters and reports that represent the firm's high standards.
