Job Description

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Paralegal to support U.S.-based law firm in delivering high-quality legal services. This remote role requires someone who is experienced in legal processes, meticulous with documentation, and able to maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Paralegal, you will provide excellence by:

  • Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Conducting legal research and summarizing findings for attorney review.
  • Assisting with case management, including calendaring deadlines and organizing case files.
  • Coordinating with clients, courts, and third-party vendors to facilitate timely filings and responses.
  • Reviewing contracts, discovery materials, and other legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • Preparing case summaries and managing documentation for litigation or transactional matters.
  • Supporting attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and ensuring compliance with legal standards and firm policies.

Do you have what it takes to be our Paralegal

Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably for a U.S. law firm.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation.
  • Experience with legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in document preparation using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and case tracking tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with attorneys and clients.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Must be presently residing in the Philippines.
