Your Role:
As a Debt Recovery / Paralegal, you will:
- Preparing legal documents
- Reconciliation of amounts owing
- Liaising with clients, debtors and courts and
- Providing regular updates to clients regarding matter status.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- University degree
- Experience working within an Australian law firm or professional services
Preferred skills/expertise
- Excellent attention to detail together with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well developed time management skills
- A willingness to learn, positive approach and strong initiative
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and the MS Office suite
- Experience in debt recovery is preferred but not required Minimum two years previous experience in a law firm or a professional services environment
- Prior experience in debt recovery is preferred
