Provide administrative and legal support and assistance to the Legal and Regulatory Officer, including but not limited to the following:
Maintain a tracking framework for contracts, agreements, and other documents requested.
Assist in drafting, editing, preparing and reviewing legal documents, including but not limited to contracts, briefs and pleadings with accuracy and clarity.
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems.
Ensure strict adherence to legal protocols and standards.
Legal research and information gathering: Conduct legal research and gather information for cases and other legal matters. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments.
Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders
Prepare detailed reports and presentations
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Word and Excel.
Confidentiality & Data Security: Safeguard sensitive legal information sensitive and maintain confidential high standards of data security and privacy.
General Legal Assistance: Support the legal department with additional tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably (law units but not required)
Experience: at least 1 to 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, or any equivalent professional experience in a legal or high-compliance environment.
