Job Description

Do you get a thrill from watching a campaign dashboard turn from red to green Are you the kind of person who can look at a spend report, spot the wasted budget in seconds, and already know the fix If you love the mix of data and creativity that paid media demands, enjoy owning a budget like it's your own money, and want real input into how ad dollars get spent, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you

Our Story Starts with People Like You

The two founders, best friends, were running businesses that needed great talent fast. So, they started building remote teams across countries like the Philippines, Colombia, and India. Not only did it work, it thrived. They realized that talent isn't limited by geography. With today's technology and high-speed internet, we're able to build high-performing global teams that support businesses across the U.S. So ClearDesk was born.

Today, ClearDesk helps U.S. businesses grow by building world-class remote teams. We don't just connect talent; we manage the entire experience, from recruiting to retention. And while we help clients thrive, we also stay deeply committed to helping our remote team members build real, lasting careers that support their lives and their families.

That's where you come in.

The Role: Paid Media Specialist (Google and Meta)

Imagine being the person behind the wheel of every paid campaign a growing business runs, across Google and Meta. Every keyword you bid on, every audience you build, and every landing page you tighten up has a direct line to conversions, cost per acquisition, and ROI.

You're not just launching ads and checking back later. You're monitoring performance daily, making the call on when to shift budget, pause an underperformer, or double down on a winner. From setting up conversion tracking correctly on day one to optimizing the landing page an ad points to, your work determines whether spend turns into results.

What Your Days Might Look Like:

  • Design, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Perform regular keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copy updates to maximize campaign performance
  • Monitor daily and weekly campaign performance, adjusting bidding strategies, budgets, and targeting to optimize ROI
  • Prepare straightforward reports highlighting spend, conversions, cost per acquisition (CPA), and other key findings
  • Set up and manage conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager and Google Ads
  • Optimize landing pages and implement basic conversion rate optimization strategies
  • Analyze ad performance and spend on an ongoing basis, identifying what's working and reallocating budget accordingly
  • Run Google Search and Display campaigns alongside Meta campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
  • Present findings clearly and be prepared to discuss recommendations during regular check-ins
  • Ask clarifying questions proactively to avoid misunderstandings and keep campaigns moving forward

Who We Think Will Thrive in This Role:

  • You have hands-on experience running Google keyword and display ad campaigns via Google Ads.
  • You have a strong track record of analyzing and optimizing ad performance and spend.
  • You've set up conversion tracking before, including Google Tag Manager and Google conversion tracking through Google Ads.
  • You understand landing page optimization and basic conversion rate optimization principles.
  • You're comfortable working across Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • You are willing to work in a US time zone schedule.
  • You can secure the required technical setup, including:
  • At least a 720p HD webcam
  • A noise-canceling headset
  • A primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps
  • A backup laptop, backup internet device, and backup power source
  • A main computer with at least Intel Core i5 (or equivalent) and 8 GB RAM
  • A backup computer with at least Intel Core i3 and 4 GB RAM
