Job Description

Make Every Detail Print-Perfect.

Great packaging starts with great design, but the real magic happens when every detail is perfected for production.

We're looking for a detail-driven Packaging Production Artist who can turn creative concepts into accurate, print-ready packaging artwork. You'll ensure every file meets technical specifications, colors reproduce correctly, and designs are ready for the printer without costly errors or delays.

If you combine advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills with a strong understanding of print production and a sharp eye for detail, this is your opportunity to make a visible impact.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare print-ready artwork: Refine, finalize, and preflight packaging files for printing and manufacturing.
  • Perfect every detail: Check copy, spelling, fonts, layouts, dimensions, colors, and technical specifications.
  • Apply print production standards: Work with dielines, bleeds, trapping, color separations, and file setup requirements.
  • Manage colors and finishes: Prepare CMYK, Pantone, and spot colors, including specialty finishes such as foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and varnishes.
  • Troubleshoot artwork: Identify and correct technical issues before files reach the printer.
  • Control revisions and quality: Maintain accurate file versions, organized artwork, and approved production files.
  • Collaborate for successful production: Partner with designers, product development teams, and printers to ensure packaging is produced accurately and consistently.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in packaging production art, prepress, or packaging design, ideally within consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of print production, including dielines, bleeds, trapping, color separations, and print-ready file preparation.
  • Understanding of CMYK, Pantone/spot colors, and specialty printing techniques.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality.
  • A technical, process-driven mindset and an understanding of how digital artwork translates into physical packaging.

Why This Role Matters

Your work bridges the gap between creative vision and production reality. By ensuring every file is accurate and production-ready, you'll help deliver packaging that looks exceptional, meets printing standards, and reaches production without unnecessary rework or delays.
