Job Dimensions

The organization is a global shared services center operating 24x7, supporting multiple entities across various countries and regions, including Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. It delivers end-to-end Finance & Accounting services across core processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Record to Report (R2R), serving diverse business units and affiliates and operating in a multilingual environment (e.g., English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Japanese).

Management Scope:
Responsible for managing an assigned team of 12-15 FTEs (Analysts).

Functional Scope:
May cover Accounts Receivable (O2C), General Ledger (R2R), and Accounts Payable (P2P), supporting multiple affiliates and handling high-volume SAP transactions within the assigned function, regional, and branch scope.


Key Activities

  • Communicate and clarify affiliate requirements, specifications, design targets, standards, tools, and processes to the team

  • Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and establish deadlines

  • Ensure balanced workforce planning and workload allocation to meet SLA objectives

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, monitor team performance, and report on SLAs and KPIs

  • Ensure quality service delivery through mentoring, coaching, and continuous development of team members

  • Intervene and support the team in resolving operational and service-related issues

  • Manage recruitment and retention activities to ensure adequate staffing for the assigned scope


Context and Work Environment

  • Dynamic and fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders

  • Responsibility for multiple reporting and performance monitoring requirements

  • Leads a team in a highly structured, metrics-driven environment


Accountabilities

  • Ensure compliance with SLA, KPI, and service quality commitments

  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant process documentation

  • Ensure service delivery aligns with group policies, standards, and core process models

  • Foster a work environment built on trust, open communication, accountability, and collaboration


Qualifications and Experience Required

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Shared Services Center or BPO environment, preferably within Finance & Accounting

  • Strong SAP ERP experience is required

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a shared services setting

  • Transition or migration experience is a strong advantage

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related fieldCPA is an advantage


Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in SAP with strong functional knowledge in the assigned F&A scope

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology is an advantage

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and analytical with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop teams
