Your Role:

We're looking for a motivated OutSystems Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you'll work closely with experienced developers and contribute to building, maintaining, and enhancing our mobile and web applications. You'll be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, from coding and debugging to testing and deployment, while gaining valuable exposure to modern development practices and tools.

You'll report directly to the OutSystemsTech Lead, collaborating daily with other developers, testers, and analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

As an OutSystems Engineer, you will:
  • Understand and document business and functional requirements of the project.
  • Prepare technical specification and technical analysis documents as per the requirements.
  • Creating technical design for application development and get it reviewed by technical architect before starting the development.
  • Manage project communications.
  • Analyse and translate requirements into design using established design standards and tools.
  • Clarify ambiguous/conflicting requirements and ensure that that changes are documented and tracked on Azure DevOps/TFS or JIRA.
  • Identify performance issues, slow queries and provide improvement approaches.
  • Perform integrations with existing systems to provide a smooth and sustainable customer transition to OutSystems
  • Perform quality web and mobile application development and design using the OutSystems and .Net platforms.
  • Perform code review of the peers and collaborate with quality assurance to ensure completeness and quality of the deliverables.
  • Perform defect fixes, analyse and identify root cause and ensure fixes are done and tested before rolling out for retest.
  • Provide technical support to the business analyst during system integration and user acceptance testing, implementing code changes if required.
  • Azure Pipeline management to support end to end deployment, creating build pipelines and release pipelines in Azure DevOps and TFS.
  • Creating release items and providing artifacts for production release.
  • Create test environments and deploy the builds on diff test environments.
  • Create and set up OutSystems cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Provide production deployment and release support during the application release.
  • Analysis of production issues and providing resolution to fix the issue.
  • Perform continuous enhancements and suggest improved solutions.
  • Monitor application issues, logs and perform server and database health checks when required.
