Your role
As an
Outbound Telemarketing Officer, you will:
Appointment Setting & Sales- Conduct outbound calls to nurture leads and book appointments.
- Engage prospects to understand needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Handle objections and negotiate to close sales.
- Exceed conversion targets by managing the sales pipeline.
Data & Strategy- Maintain accurate customer database records (CRM).
- Track and report on call outcomes and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimise outreach strategies.
- Provide feedback on call scripts and market trends.
- Adapt to various industries and client needs.
Customer & Compliance- Deliver outstanding customer service to build long-term relationships.
- Communicate professionally and persuasively.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and telemarketing best practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends and client offerings.
Team Support- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members as needed.
What You Need:Non-negotiables:- At least 1 year+ of experience in telemarketing, outbound sales, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer data and track progress.
- Background in engaging with business prospects and handling objections professionally.
- Understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of telemarketing regulations and data privacy compliance.
