Job Description
The OSP Supervisor is responsible for supervising the implementation, operation, maintenance, and repair of Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic network infrastructure. The role oversees aerial and underground Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) activities, leads field teams, ensures project quality and timely completion, and maintains compliance with safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage OSP fiber optic installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Oversee aerial and underground FOC installation, testing, troubleshooting, and restoration.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor field activities to ensure quality and compliance.
- Lead and supervise field technicians, installers, and contractors.
- Coordinate with clients, project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and technical project reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering practices, and company policies.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain network reliability and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE).
- Preferably with BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) Certification.
- Preferably with CFOS/D (Certified Fiber Optic Specialist – Design) Certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in OSP implementation, maintenance, and repair of aerial and underground FOC networks.
- Willing to travel and work at various project sites as required.
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday.
- Willing to relocate around South and North Luzon
