Job Description
The Occupational Health Nurse (OH Nurse) is responsible for providing clinical support and promoting health and safety within our facility. Key responsibilities include facilitating medical monitoring initiatives, managing occupational health programs, assisting with medical claims, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The OH Nurse plays a vital role in the daily implementation of health initiatives and standards.
Job Responsibilities
Health And Safety
Coordinate medical emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity programs.
Promote health and wellness services such as pre-employment medical exams (PEME), annual physical exams (APE), emergency care units (ECU), vaccination, random drug testing, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and other wellness initiatives.
Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team to implement onsite programs, ensuring Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards are prioritized in daily office operations.
Clinical
Ensure smooth run of clinic operations including proper management of clinic records, medicines, supplies, and equipment.
Assist employees in processing their health-related benefits, claims, and concerns.
Execute daily tasks aligned with Health Systems Key Elements.
Business Alignment
Run processes in compliance with laws and corporate governance.
Work with HR and leadership teams on health and wellbeing initiatives.
Ensure data privacy, information security, and stewardship principles are constantly and effectively implemented.
Professional Development
Maintain an active nursing license with particular focus on Occupational Health.
Facilitate First Aider trainings and engage in professional networks.
Be updated on the local OSH regulation and ensure compliance with DOLE requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Willing to work in Taytay or based in Taytay
Valid nursing license in Philippines.
Completed Basic Occupational Safety and Health course provided by the Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines (OHNAP) or other DOLE-accredited providers.
At least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
Knowledge of Philippine health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Good IT skills, preferably proficient in Microsoft Office, and/or other reporting platforms.
