As Originations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and administration of requirements needed for new site acquisitions for sale or lease as determined by Origination Managers. The position holder is also responsible for monitoring progress with stakeholders specially landowners, agents, brokers and other government agencies as well as building and maintaining relationships to deliver desired results. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Originations and Land Solutions to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Handling field work related to potential acquisition of new sites as assigned by team leader.
• Responsible for obtaining requirements necessary for new site acquisition projects of ARI and facilitate other administrative duties associated with land acquisition.
• Supporting and assisting on negotiations related to land and may represent ARI during discussions with external stakeholders and serve as link for proper and timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders representing the best interests for ARI and its projects.
• Conducting research on particular areas for landowner information.
• Assisting with local transaction implementation and works closely with Origination Managers in suggesting process inputs and enhancements for overall process efficiency and standardization.
• Presenting and reporting updates per project on a weekly basis.

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Communication Skills. Required to communicate status of land transactions. clearly and frequently to identify and address issues that may impede the potential acquisition.
• Interpersonal Skills. Must have the ability to interact with different types of stakeholders, landowners, government offices and must be able to build and maintain relationships and trust.
• Negotiating Skills. Must protect the interest of the company in explaining the terms of contract and can recommend best options in the interest of the company.
• Organizational Skills. Must be organized and maintain accurate records of land transactions including but not limited to permits, contracts, certifications and endorsements.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in the power industry or other related industry
• At least 1 year of which is related to land acquisition, negotiation and stakeholder management

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Willing to do field work and be re-assigned in different areas, experience with contracts and negotiations, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple sites.
