Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle WebLogic / Application Systems Administration Support Consultant to provide production support and system administration for existing Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g/12c environments.
This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting existing production environments rather than new implementations or application development. You will work closely with the support team to diagnose complex middleware, server, deployment, service, database connectivity, and log-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g/12c environments.
- Troubleshoot complex production incidents involving middleware, servers, services, deployments, and database connectivity.
- Analyze application and middleware logs, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support WebLogic domains, managed servers, JVMs, data sources, and connection pools.
- Troubleshoot application deployments and environment-related issues.
- Perform performance analysis and JVM/resource troubleshooting.
- Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Work with technical teams to restore services and maintain production stability.
- Support legacy Oracle middleware environments with limited documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g/12c.
- Strong production support and system administration background.
- Experience troubleshooting JVM and resource-related issues.
- Experience with WebLogic deployments, data sources, connection pools, and managed servers.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is preferred.
- Familiarity with environments hosting Oracle SOA Suite, BPM, BPEL, and/or ADF applications is an advantage.
Independent Contractor Requirements
- BIR Form 2303 / Certificate of Registration
- Registered as a Sole Proprietor or Self-Employed Professional
- Able to issue a Service Invoice/Receipt
- Contractor manages their own taxes and government contributions
- No HMO or regular employee benefits
