Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator

Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly in Oracle Utilities applications, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle Utilities applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the testing process using relevant tools.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities work as expected after changes are made.
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
• Assist in the development of automation scripts to improve efficiency of testing processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-8 years of experience in software testing, specifically with Oracle Utilities applications.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar defect tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders.
