Oracle Technical Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle databases and applications.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Oracle software and related tools.
• Conduct performance tuning and system optimization to ensure efficient operations.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and security protocols in compliance with IT standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and submit regular system performance reports.
• Collaborate with functional and ministry teams to deliver technology solutions that support organizational goals.
• Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions to strengthen the technical capability of staff.
• Stay updated on the latest Oracle technologies, while integrating continuous improvement with stewardship principles.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience: 1-2 years experience as an Oracle Technical Analyst, DBA, or equivalent role
• Oracle Database (12c, 19c, or later)
• SQL/PLSQL scripting and performance tuning
• Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, and backup/recovery management
• Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
• Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud (preferred)
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills
