Job Title:Oracle Principal Tech Lead
Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM PH Time (Remote | w/ occasional visits in the office)
Position Overview
The Principal Tech Lead – Oracle Cloud & Enterprise Solutions will serve as the chief engineer and technical authority across the Oracle technology stack, driving end-to-end architecture, solution design, and engineering excellence. This role is responsible for shaping the technical strategy, leading complex integrations, and ensuring optimal performance and innovation across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS), Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Autonomous Databases (ATP/ADW), Oracle GoldenGate, and other related Oracle web and middleware technologies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who combines deep Oracle expertise with cloud-native design principles, integration architecture, and leadership experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Serve as the enterprise technical authority for all Oracle technologies across OCI, Fusion, EBS, Service Cloud, OIC, ATP/ADW, and GoldenGate.
- Define and maintain the end-to-end Oracle technology architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, scalability, and security standards.
- Lead cloud-native modernization initiatives — migrating and integrating Oracle workloads to OCI and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate, design, and implement cross-platform integrations between Oracle and non-Oracle systems using modern APIs, middleware, and integration patterns.
- Guide the design and implementation of data architecture, replication, and real-time data streaming using Oracle GoldenGate and related tools.
- Engineering & Delivery
- Oversee solution design, build, and deployment across Oracle applications and services to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
- Partner with development and DevOps teams to drive CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and observability for Oracle workloads.
- Set engineering standards, best practices, and reference architectures for all Oracle-related development and integration.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application, middleware, database, and cloud layers.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate functional needs into robust Oracle-based technical solutions.
- Partner with Oracle product teams and vendors to stay current with new releases, capabilities, and licensing models.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams across the Oracle technology landscape to elevate technical proficiency.
- Participate in enterprise architecture reviews, steering committees, and technical governance forums.
Required Skills & Experience
- Technical Expertise
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Oracle enterprise solutions, with 6+ years in technical architecture and leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) design and administration, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
- Deep experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.) and Oracle EBS (R12 and above), including integrations and customizations.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Service Cloud, and Oracle SOA Suite.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW), Oracle Database 19c+, and Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and streaming.
- Experience in modern integration approaches — REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and message brokers.
- Familiarity with DevOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for Oracle workloads.
- Strong understanding of security, performance tuning, and scalability across Oracle applications and infrastructure.
- Leadership & Soft Skills
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and complex cross-platform projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to bridge the gap between business, IT, and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven ability to drive modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with multi-cloud architectures (Oracle + Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Familiarity with enterprise middleware, identity management, and data governance frameworks.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
