Job Roles and Responsibilities
The Oracle Peoplesoft Developer will be responsible for developing Peoplesoft solutions and supporting existing clients. This role involves understanding client requirements, designing tailored solutions, implementing these solutions, and providing ongoing support. He will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that technology solutions are delivered effectively and meet the client's business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Client Engagement:
- Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and technical needs.
- Conduct detailed assessments and analyses of client systems and infrastructure.
- Present and explain technical solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
2.Solution Design and Implementation:
- Design and develop customized technical solutions based on client requirements.
- Plan and manage the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
3.Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to clients post-implementation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to clients on the use and maintenance of implemented solutions.
4.Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance product development and client satisfaction.
5.Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic technical guidance.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle PeopleTools) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical consulting or similar role.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Peoplesoft Developer.
- Strong technical expertise in PeopleTools including Peoplecode, components, records, pages, structure and content, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., databases, programming languages, system monitoring tools).
- Has experience in global payroll.
- Has experience in app engines, SQRs, component interface and web services.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
