Oracle Developer (Application Support Engineer)
As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing critical business applications. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving system issues while ensuring high availability and performance. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle Applications Development.
- Lead and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Take ownership of team decisions and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders on critical system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Provide effective solutions to technical problems across teams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address risks or potential failures.
- Support operations and maintenance activities, ensuring system stability.
- Handle change requests, including analysis, implementation, and validation.
- Develop and execute test scripts for system enhancements and fixes.
- Perform system patching and support internal testing activities.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen team capabilities.
- Document processes, solutions, and best practices to build a robust knowledge base.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Applications Development (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills- Experience with Oracle Applications Forms.
