Sysgen RPO is hiring Oracle Database Administrator for direct hire with our client from the IT Services and Consulting industry

Job Responsibilities:
- ·Serve as subject-matter expert/solutions architect in your specialisation (Oracle DBA, Cloud Architecture, and ideally Cyber Security); lead solution design, gap analysis, data migration strategy and performance tuning for complex client environments.
- Install, configure and support the Prescience toolset (Primavera P6, EPPM, PCM and related products), building toolset depth through structured learning and on-the-job development.
- Proactively monitor, manage and support the PPDC environment within OCI.
- Provide technical support to clients, resolving escalated tickets and delivering consulting services in line with agreed SLAs.
- Support integration activities across Web Services / API, Primavera, Oracle Database and cloud platforms.
- Proactively monitor and optimise client environments, and ensure systems under Managed Services and Cloud agreements have appropriate support and maintenance strategies.
- Oversee the quality of project deliverables and apply procedures and ITIL service-management practices.
- Conduct technical risk analysis and develop contingency plans; produce high-quality solution documentation and maintain the knowledge base.
Consulting responsibilities
- Lead and develop quality client relationships; facilitate workshops and constructively challenge clients and peers on delivery assumptions.
- Act as the functional bridge between clients and technical consultants, translating client requirements into workable solutions.
- Mentor and guide consultants and senior consultants, and deliver internal training to help other team members level up in additional technical areas
- Be available for on-call support in line with the C&MS On-Call Support Roster.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to generate respect and credibility, escalating issues appropriately with evidence-based resolution strategies.
- Support bids, pre-sales and proposal estimation, and identify sales leads while delivering client work.
- Introduce and influence new technology initiatives that drive performance improvement.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current certification and strong hands-on experience in one of: Oracle DBA or Cloud Architecture (OCI and/or Microsoft Azure), and Cyber Security.
- Proven & Relevant technology/consulting experience.
- Proven solution design capability and experience supporting integrations (Web Services / API, Primavera, Oracle Database, cloud).
- Prior experience in installing, configuring and supporting 3rd party enterprise application.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and the ability to apply ITIL service-management processes.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately and suggest evidence-based resolution strategies.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE*
- Existing Primavera P6 experience (multiple versions).
- A second specialisation from the three tracks (Oracle DBA, Cloud Architecture, Cyber Security).
- Tertiary qualification in IT or engineering
- Industry exposure in transport, infrastructure, mining or resources.
