Job Description

Manage, administer, and support enterprise Oracle database environments, including Oracle EBS R12.
Monitor, tune, and optimise database performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
Troubleshoot complex Oracle EBS application and database issues across multiple business functions.
Perform database cloning, refresh activities, patching, workflow management, and concurrent processing support.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve monitoring, health checks, and operational efficiency.
Implement and maintain backup, replication, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Partner with application, infrastructure, and development teams on deployments and optimisation initiatives.
Enforce database security, governance, access controls, and compliance standards.
Maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and operational records.
Participate in global on-call rotations and provide support during production incidents, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with international teams to ensure seamless follow-the-sun support coverage

The Successful Applicant

At least 8 years of experience in database administration within enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in Oracle Database technologies, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Oracle 19c or later.
Extensive hands-on experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL scripting capabilities.
Strong knowledge of database architecture, optimisation, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
Experience with database security, auditing, encryption, and access management.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently while leading complex technical initiatives.
Experience with Oracle monitoring and diagnostic tools is advantageous.
Oracle certifications and exposure to Oracle BI, FCCS, Oracle WMS, ORDS, or Apex are highly desirable.
