We're building a powerful personal brand for our CEO on YouTube, and we're missing one
key pieceyou.
We're looking for a capable, creative video editor familiar with turning long form videos into shorts using Opus Clip and other video editing software.
We need someone who understands which clips will perform the best, where to cut the clips and how to transform them using visual elements in a way that will engage viewers and keep them watching until the very last second. We're talking subtitles, transitions, animations and carefully selected b-roll.
Salary:

The Role
What You'll Do
Edit high-retention YouTube content using Opus Clip and other tools
- Repurpose long-form videos into engaging Shorts using Opus Clip (Turn 1 long form content piece into 8 clips done weekly)
- Select best videos from autogenerated results keeping in mind both context and quality
- Use jump cuts, pacing, VFX, and storytelling techniques to maximize watch time.
Optimize for YouTube Growth
- Edit with audience retention in mindhook viewers and keep them watching.
- Apply motion graphics, dynamic cuts, and animations to enhance engagement.
Ideal Profile
Bonus Points If You
- Have proven experience editing for YouTube creators with a track record of high-retention videos.
- Understand YouTube SEO, algorithm triggers, and audience psychology.
- Have a strong sense of narrative, pacing, and curiosity loops.
- Have a wider knowledge of SEO
