  • Business Controls & Risk Management
  • Lead root-cause analysis and develop scalable solutions to prevent recurring driver/merchant/buyer fraud and operational risks.
  • Own and improve operational controls across key marketplace processes.
  • Identify control gaps and process weaknesses that impact cost, profitability, and marketplace performance.
  • Develop preventive and detective controls to reduce financial leakage and improve operational governance.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms to track fraud exposure, losses, operational risks, and control effectiveness.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to evaluate business impact and prioritize improvement initiatives.
  • Marketplace Efficiency & Cost Optimization
  • Analyze key marketplace cost drivers and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Own initiatives to optimize Cost Per Order (CPO), operational costs, and marketplace profitability.
  • Analyze drivers of fare increases, incentives, subsidies, cancellations, refunds, and operational expenses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketplace efficiency through process improvements, policy changes, and better controls.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Product teams to develop strategies that reduce costs while maintaining customer and partner experience.
  • Conduct business analysis to understand trade-offs between cost, growth, service quality, and marketplace health.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience in marketplace operations, strategy & operations, fraud management, business controls, risk management, consulting, or operational excellence.
  • Strong experience analyzing operational metrics, identifying cost drivers, and developing efficiency improvement strategies.
  • Experience managing or influencing marketplace metrics such as Cost Per Order (CPO), incentives, subsidies, fares, operational costs, and productivity.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, including driver/rider supply, demand, pricing, incentives, and operational trade-offs.
  • Proven experience in fraud prevention, controls design, risk mitigation, or operational governance.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
