Operations Technician

A Process/ Operations Technician is in charge of the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities associated with processing crude oil into various petroleum products. He is specifically assigned to do field works and/or workstation operation in any of the major process unit covering FCC2, VPS-2, CGOHT, LPGT-3/4, PRU-2, PNU and SHP-2.

He is primarily responsible in ensuringsafe and efficient operation of all equipment in his assigned area. He operates, starts-up, maintains, or shuts down equipment per Standard Operating Procedures. He is also responsible fordrawing samples for routine laboratory test or for special tests as required, preparation of lines, vessels or equipment for turnover to Maintenance and forsafe maintenance and turnaround according to established procedures, performs basic equipment care (BEC) and monitors equipment performance by taking readings of critical monitoring parameters.

Qualifications:

• At least a technical school graduate engineering graduates strongly preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Bataan.
