Job Description

Operations Support Analyst Is Mainly Responsible For

  • Data Warehouse & Analytics Operations
  • Ensure scheduled Extract-Transform-Load jobs, data refreshes, and reporting processes run successfully and on time;
  • Execute on-demand data extraction and loading jobs, as needed;
  • Monitor daily operations of the data warehouse, data pipelines, and analytics platforms to ensure data availability and performance;
  • Track and resolve data load failures, report issues, and system performance anomalies;
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs for data refresh, reporting, and analytics delivery; and,
  • Support release coordination and deployment of analytics and data warehouse changes. Also provide post-release monitoring and troubleshooting support.
  • Data Quality & Validation
  • Perform data quality checks to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency across data sources;
  • Investigate data discrepancies and work with data engineering and analytics teams to implement fixes; and,
  • Document data issues, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
  • Reporting & Analytics Support
  • Support BI tools, dashboards, and analytical reports used by business teams;
  • Assist users with data access, report usage, and issue resolution; and,
  • Validate analytical outputs to ensure alignment with business definitions and metrics
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Coordinate with data engineers, analytics teams, IT operations, and business users;
  • Communicate data issues, operational status, and resolutions in a clear and timely manner;
  • Support change management activities related to enhancements, releases, and platform upgrades;
  • Provide application-related support and training to internal and external clients on how to use dashboards and reports;
  • Coordinate with teams for infra-related support; and
  • Perform other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his superiors from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any IT related course
  • No certifications required.
  • Must have at least 2+ years of related experience in support.
  • Exposure to ETL/ELT tools (e.g. SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
  • Knowledge in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS) is a plus (but not required.)
  • Knowledge of IT service management processes (ITIL, incident/problem management)
