We're looking for anOperations & Strategy Associatewho's apractical problem-solver. The ideal candidate has strong problem solving and analytical skills, and is able to work with others to turn ideas into action. They don't stop at finding a neat solution to a problem - they want to implement change and see the results of their work. They're comfortable with data, ready to tackle tricky problems in ambiguous situations, and able to partner with stakeholders, including senior leaders.

First Circle is changing small business banking in the Philippines. The sky is the limit for someone who wants to get stuck in and make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • The role offers high exposure to the executive leadership team, working on strategic priorities.
  • There will belimited repetitive or process-based work. The majority of the focus will be on projects that deliver real business impact.
  • Projects willvary in nature, scope, and duration, making this role ideal for candidates whoenjoy variety and tackling new challenges.
  • Example projects could include:
    • Diagnosing issues with thesales funneland working with the sales team toimprove processes, includingAI-driven automationwhere possible.
    • Conducting amarket analysisto assess the feasibility of developing anew distribution channel via 3rd-party partners.
    • Redesigning the payments operations processfrom the ground up, identifying opportunities for automation and collaborating with the tech team todeploy AI solutions.
    • Conductingweekly business reviewsto help the organizationspot problems early and act quickly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, STEM or similar field.
  • 2-3 years of work experience, ideally including Consulting or Finance, and hands-on experience working inside a business (preferably a tech company in a fast-paced environment).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience using data and analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Python) preferred.
  • Highly practical - able to take a problem, find a solution, and then drive it to execution.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
